Stonehill pharmacy here on referred to as “us/the company/we/ours”

General

  • All persons entering these premises do so entirely at their own risk, the owners management, contractors, agents and their directors and employees shall not be liable in anyway for injuries or death of any person or any harm caused to any person or for loss or destruction off or damage off any property arising out of any incident on our premises of whatsoever nature and by whomsoever caused and by whatsoever cause arising including negligence
  • We reserve the right to ask you to leave our store, we may ban you or block you from using our communication or social media platforms as well as the direct use of our store.
  • Our products/services remain ours, until full payment is received, and we reserve the right to take legal action for recovery of debt

Refunds and Return policy

  • As per regulation by the Medicines and related Substances Act of 101 of 1965 and in compliance with Good Pharmacy Practice in South Africa, no medicines are returnable to the pharmacy once it has left the premises
  • Neither shall the medicine(s) be exchanged for credit or different product(s)

No refunds or exchanges will also apply to the following products

  • jewellery
  • make-up
  • breast pumps
  • personal grooming items

With regards to credits/refunds – is solely at the discretion of the store manager, outcome of which is dependent on the condition/inspection of the product(s) Please note that the original till slip must be produced for refund(s) to be considered.

  • Please refer to our privacy policy
  • Please note that as per regulation and in compliance with the South African Pharmacy Council, we are to record FULL patient details/contact information/identity information when dispensing scheduled medication, which includes self -medication /“over the counter” medicines

Medical aid claims and fraud prevention

  • We require identification as well as membership card of the main member to process medical aid claims
  • We need to verify particulars of ALL members to avoid the occurrence of fraudulent claims

Purchase of scheduled medication

  • Please note that you will need to be assisted by pharmacy personnel for ALL scheduled medication- These are in reference to medication displayed behind a counter/those with restricted access. Other general merchandise/ wellness /schedule 0 medications displayed in the front store; you may purchase without assistance.

Deliveries

  • We offer free delivery of chronic medicines within a 5km radius
  • We can offer same day delivery depending on the capacity of our resources
  • Your order will be delivered in 24hours – providing that all medication is in stock
  • We will not deliver medicines without full payment, Eft payments will need to be cleared before delivery is done, alternatively we do accept cash or card payments when we deliver
